The Martin Chair-A-Table (CAT) is the next generation of Safe Patient Handling equipment. An innovative patient lift system, the CAT promotes the safety and dignity of the patient, relieves caregivers of heavy lifting, and improves physician access to the patient. This FDA approved system includes two integrated components: a wheelchair that "docks" into an examination table. Thanks to the CAT's Zero-Lift® technology, no physical lifting of the patient is required and the risk of patient falls and worker injury is dramatically reduced. The Martin Exam Table has a 1,000 lb capacity, extending footrest, 8-way power adjustment with trendelenburg, and 3 preset functions. With a low height of 14", a max of 39" and a 330° swivel option, the CAT can accommodate a wide range of patients and office sizes. The Bariatric Martin Wheelchair has a 1,000 lb capacity, and the Bariatric CAT ranges up to 40".
